Jai Alai is a sport involving a ball that is bounced off a walled space by accelerating it to high speeds with a hand-held wicker device. It is a variation of Basque pelota. The fronton is the court on which Jai Alai is played. It is a great game to watch.

Dania Beach is also home to the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum. A large part of the city is dedicated to natural areas and park lands including the Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park.
